5 Best Recipes for Summer Alcoholic Drinks

When it?s hot outside there is nothing better than to chill out with a cool refreshing cocktail. It is always nice to have something a little bit different but here we bring you back to some simple old classics, for that lazy evening with friends. We’ve compiled the 5 Best Recipes for Summer Alcoholic drinks for your next summer gathering.

1. How about a fruity Margarita

Frozen Summer Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2-parts silver tequila
  • 1-part Cointreau
  • Crushed ice
  • lime juice
  • Course salt

Directions.

Coat the rim of a chilled glass in the lime juice and then add the course salt by dipping the rim into it.

Mix the tequila, Cointreau and ice in the cocktail shaker and pour into the prepared glass.

 2. The Daiquiri

Strawberry Daiquiri Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 2 tsp superfine sugar
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ice
  • Directions

Stir the sugar into the lime juice, add the rum and ice and shake, then strain the mixture into a chilled glass for a smooth cocktail.

3. Mojito

Mojito Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz of white rum
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 tsp superfine sugar
  • 3 mint leaves
  • Club soda

Stir the sugar into the lime juice in a cocktail glass, add the mint leaves and stir until soft enough to stick to the side of the glass, add about 2/3rds of a glass of ice and pour in the rum. Complete the drink with the club soda and the lime shell if desired.

4. Moscow Mule

Ingredients

Directions 
Mix, pour over ice into a chilled glass, decorate with lime slices. 
This couldn?t be easier and don?t worry about serving it in a copper mug. This was done to enhance the chill of the drink but in some states the copper mugs are no longer legal so unless you want to try other chilled tankers just serve in a cold cocktail glass and enjoy

5. The Sidecar

Side Car Cocktail

Ingredients 
Serves 4

  • 6 oz of cognac (VSOP or VS)
  • 3 oz Cointreau
  • 3 oz fresh lemon juice
  • ice
  • Sugar

Directions 
Coat the rims of the cocktail glasses with the sugar. Put everything else in a jug and stir. Strain into the glasses. Decorate with orange peel if required.
